Elsa England Elementary School
Third grade Water Warriors at Elsa England Elementary have been studying water conservation and water scarcity as part of a year long service learning project. Our study of water has been woven throughout our curriculum. As we were researching different aspects of water such as water usage, drought, pollution and scarcity, the students became passionate about helping children in other countries who do not have easy access to clean water. Our students are developing a sense of global citizenship. To raise funds, our students will be developing products to sell at an economics fair and organizing a community wide walk for water.

Ely Washington Elementary
It is an annual tradition here in Ely for the Student Council to sponsor a Walk for Water and this year's Student Council members are again excited to share this with our student body! We live in Ely, where sparkling, clear water abounds and our students just take a short walk to the drinking fountain to fill their water bottles. We feel very strongly that it is important for our students to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves and are proud to be a part of teaching the students to look beyond themselves and be a positive change in the world. This year, we plan to be walking May 20 and will start an "in school" fundraising campaign to "Fill the Bucket" before that day. One student asked, "What if we need a bigger bucket?" Collectively the conversation then excitedly turned to having to get bigger and bigger buckets to fill. We are also gratefully accepting online donations. Please join us as we work to help others!

Emerson Middle School
Here at Emerson Middle School we believe that children should not have to walk miles for clean water. We believe that every child should have access to clean, healthy water.

Emporia Middle School AVID Program
Our AVID Program includes grades 7-8 and we have about 75 students all together. While our overall objectives are aligned with AVID nationwide, our short-term goals are to help students develop in areas of academics, leadership, organization, and overall college readiness. We would like to get involved in Water for Life to help our students develop a sense of service and use this opportunity for project-based learning.

Enloe High School Interact Club C...
Interact is a student-led service club at Enloe High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Interact started as a small club 7 years ago, but now has over 30 members. Every year, they create service projects to help donate to their community. The Raleigh-Midtown Rotary Club sponsors Interact. Rotarians often volunteer with Interact events and help teach Interacters community service skills, giving them the platform and support needed to make a difference in the community. The International Rotary Organization strives for global community service by working together to help one another. This year, Interact has decided to work with H2O for Life to expand its service to the global community. Club members voted on a community to support and are eager to raise money to help others.

Environmental Science Course
Environmental students want to work towards change. Support them by contributing to their cause.

FAIR School Crystal
8th Grade Science students at FAIR School Crystal were shocked to learn that many people lack access to clean water. This spurred students to ask the question, "What can we do to help?". Students are proud to raise funds and do something positive to make a difference in the world.

Falmouth Middle School
The sixth grade at Falmouth Middle School is excited to embark on this opportunity to connect their study of India with a service learning project that helps people live and thrive. Students will be learning about the global water crisis and the effects that water scarcity has on people in India. We are all excited to put our energies and minds together to help solve and alleviate a real world problem!

Fellowship of Daystar
I have previously done the H20 for Life program with my school and I would like to do the program again. In cooperation with students from my school I will raise money to help provide for a school in need, in order to help other students achieve better academics and a better life.

First Avenue Middle School
Our English class read "A Long Walk to Water" and researched about the issue facing those with water insecurity. We wanted to be part of the solution and found H2O for Life.
