It is becoming an annual tradition here in Ely for the Student Council to sponsor a Walk for Water and this year's Student Council members are super excited to share this with our student body and raise money for Mlandege Primary School!
The Elementary Student Council has had several discussions about how lucky we are to live in Ely, where sparkling, clear water abounds and our students just take a short walk to the drinking fountain to fill their water bottles. We feel very strongly that it is important for our students to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves and are proud to be a part of teaching the students to look beyond themselves and be a positive change in the world.
