Fisher Mitchell School
We are third graders from the United States. In school, we have been learning about the water cycle. When we watched a video about how some parts of the world do not have clean water to drink like we do, it made us very sad. We had to do something! We feel like every kid should be safe from viruses and have fresh water to drink so they can be healthy. We think it is important to help others, even in just a small way. That is why we decided to help H2O For Life.

Raymond Elementary School
Every year the third grade at Raymond Elementary studies water and the life it sustains in our local environment. This year we decided to add to our project. We wanted to look at what water is like around the world. We have been learning about water conservation efforts in our own state of Maine. We are also very excited to learn about water and the impact it has on children around the world who are just like us. We were so surprised to learn that water is not readily available in many places, and that children actually die from not having clean water to drink. So we decided that we wanted to make a difference for a school of children who need access to clean drinking water.
