Forsyth School
Fifth graders at Forsyth School focus on ancient civilizations in their social studies units where they come to understand the importance of a reliable water source in the survival and development of humans. Latin America is an area of particular interest to our students, as they study the ancient cultures of Mesoamerica and learn to map Central and South America by memory. Through the sustainability curriculum, students connect this with the scarcity of clean water for many cultures throughout the world today. As part of our community outreach, we would like to contribute to the effort to provide access to clean water to all.
Girl Scouts of Missouri Heartland...
We are Girl Scouts on a mission to make the world a better place. We are working on our Save Water Award and want to share with others what we have learned. Our goal is to educate and inspire other people so that even more people will protect the right of clean water.
Rockwood Valley Middle School
Students and staff at Rockwood Valley Middle School want to help put an end to the global water crisis. Our students are learning the causes and effects of water shortages around the world, and would like to do their part to give back. Please help us raise money and awareness for this important global cause!
St. Ambrose on The Hill
The members of student council, the Girls on the Run team and our Confirmandi at St. Ambrose on The Hill team want to bring joy!
The King's Academy
We are a private school in Missouri. Our middle school class recently learned of the water shortage in Africa and we have been reading A Long Walk to Water. We decided that we wanted to raise money for a school in Africa.
Washington High School
We are excited to bring water to this school because everyone deserves clean, safe water! We are looking forward to working with Rotary, too, and improving the lives of these children!
Washington High School Interact Club
Interact is actively engaged in community and global service projects. We believe in Service Above Self.
