School of Engineering and Arts
We want to participate because when we learned that not everyone has easy access to water, we wanted to do something to help! ~ 4th grade students
Sedgwick Elementary School
We have been reading 'A Long Walk to Water' in ELA and studying water and related topics in science and have committed to raising $2501.00 We have brainstormed fundraising ideas and our first is selling peace flags, designed, and printed by students. The response has been fabulous and to date we have raised approx $1000.00. the picture above shows students with flags.
Senn High School
Our Service Club is excited to serve less fortunate people around the globe. Senn High School is committed to being globally aware and doing what we can to make the world a better place.
Sentinel High School
Our group would like to help build latrines. We know we are fortunate to have flush toilets and think we should help.
Service Kids in Progress
Access to clean drinking water is often taken for granted in the United States but is a life or death issue for people in some parts of the world. By participating in a Walk for Water through H2O for Life, SKIP aims to raise awareness about this important issue and to raise money to build a well for the students at South Sudan School 4.
Service Warriors
Our club is called the Service Warriors. We are passionate about making a difference in the world around us. We want to be engaged in the world, and one way we do that is to actively be a contributing citizen for a better world. In the words of Mother Teresa, we believe that “It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
Shakopee Chapter of Amnesty Inter...
As a chapter of Amnesty International we are dedicated to providing everyone- no matter what race, religion, gender, or sexuality they are or adhere to- with basic human rights, one of which is education. H2O for Life is a great organization to partner with and further these goals.
Shariff Cousins and More!
We are a group of cousins Shariff and more wanting to fund a particular project.
Simley High School
Simley High school students and faculty want to be part of finding creative solutions to global issues. We are taking action by thinking globally and acting locally. We have learned about water and global perspectives. A student learning service project to support In 2023, we plan to bring 230 new Home Water Systems to families, each of which will need to be filled on a routine basis. Continued support from H2O for Life for this program will ensure DigDeep will be able to meet the increased demand for water deliveries, which is a critical part of ensuring reliable access to drinking water. On average, it costs approximately $53 to make one water delivery to a household on the Navajo Nation. That means that for every $636 dollars we raise, we will be able to bring clean, running water to another family on the Navajo Nation for an entire year. We are grateful for your consideration of continued support for the water hauling program.to join with other schools to complete this vital project.
