Otter Lake Elementary School

There is a water crisis throughout the world that is creating economic, social, educational and, worst of all, life threatening conditions. We can help change that statistic for our partner school. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world! We hope that all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H2O for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surrounding water in our world. We hope our school will be committed to make this project for our partner school a reality.

Pacific Ridge School

The 7th grade class just read A Long Walk To Water in our study of the global and local water problems. We are going to do a local water awareness campaign but the students were so moved by the book that we wanted to get involved even though it is late in the year. I hope we can still help out!

Park View Middle School Student G...

Park View has participated in events for H2O for Life since 2014 and through our partnerships, we've been able to help multiple schools in African countries obtain water wells! We hope to keep this tradition alive this year through our annual Walk for Water event each spring. In addition, many students at our school have read A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. This has brought attention to the water scarcity problem in Africa and is one of the reasons we want to complete this service project.
