Blue Hill Consolidated School
We are a preK-8 school in Blue Hill, Maine. Our 7th grade class recently read the book "A Long Walk to Water" and was inspired to find a way to help. The 7th grade is leading a whole school effort to raise awareness and funds to support water initiatives around the world.
Bluff Creek Elementary
Bluff Creek Elementary is a public elementary school serving students in grades K-5. We are beyond excited for the opportunity to help support schools in need around the world! Project Impact involves 5th graders in learning project management skills through civic engagement. The United Nations Sustainable Development goals serve as inspiration for the 12 local and global service projects. The youth in Project Impact H2O are supporting the Global Goal "Clean Water and Sanitation" by choosing to support WASH projects around the globe. Students will work together to host a lemonade stand and walk for water to support public awareness and fundraising efforts.

Brand g Vacations
Brand g Vacations is a tour operator specializing in LGBT travel. My husband Troy and had the privilege to travel to Tanzania as part of a familiarization trip to determine if it would be a good fit for a Brand g Vacations tour. We were not only impressed with the country as a destination, but were also so impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the Maasai people we met. We were also incredibly moved by the stories of hardship these communities face, including the lack of easily accessible clean drinking water. I remembered having met Patty Hall from H2O for Life and wondered if they could help. I was able to introduce Engaruka to H2O and thus the start of this fundraising effort.
Bret Harte Elementary School
We are a IB School and want to give our children the understanding that being privileged should mean we ought to help those not so privileged.
Brisbane Elementary School District
While visiting this preschool for orphans this past summer, the awareness of not having access to water was right in front of me... no longer a distant concept that I heard or read about. These very sweet children, who already have so many challenges at the beginning of their young lives with having lost their parents, spend their days trying to learn at a school with a mud floor, no access to water, and a single latrine. Despite this, the children and the teachers were so happy and welcoming. I thought that this would be an ideal project and learning experience for the students of the Brisbane School District. We are fortunate enough to have easy access to clean water and sanitation facilities. This is one way to increase awareness about the water situation in other parts of the world, while helping these students and teachers have what we take for granted.
Buffalo High School AVID & World ...
In 2017-2018 AVID 11 is organizing a set of fundraisers to purchase water filters for Puerto Rico. We have pledged to raise at least $750 through H2O for Life. They raised over $1200. Now in 2018-19, Ms. Schramm's World Studies class chose to donate to an H2O for Life project after learning about Africa in class. They voluntarily donate $100.
