Buffalo Middle School
To celebrate February "I Love to Read" month, Buffalo Community Middle School participated in a school wide book study. The selected book was A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. BCMS students and staff developed a greater global perspective and compassion for people who face great challenges each day.
Burleigh Manor Middle School
Our Burleigh Bobcats are ready to help fellow students access clean and sustainable water. We are learning about the global water crisis and would like to be part of the solution.
Burnsville High School
Our Green Team (Environmental leadership team) will be using a Terra Cycle chip recycling plan and other fundraising mechanisms to contribute and help these students. Our school sets in suburban Minneapolis and considers composting, the environment, and service to be key pillars to who we are at BHS.
Cactus, Inc. (Arroyo Vista Charte...
We want to participate because we'd like to make an impact on the world through means of water conservation and helping those in need of water. We were assigned a school project in which we are supposed to make an impact and learn in the process. We thought this would be a good way to be a positive force for change.
Cahokia High School
Every day, one billion people make a three hour journey to gather water! There is a water crisis throughout the world that is creating economic, social, educational and, worst of all, life threatening conditions. We can help change that statistic for our partner school. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world! We hope that all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H2O for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surrounding water in our world. We hope our school will be committed to make this project for our partner school a reality.
Cambridge Rindge and Latin
Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School students in the Honors African American Literature course are raising funds for the Abutia Norvisi Community School in Ghana. Please consider donating to their campaign! "Abutia Norvisi Community School was established in 1964 by the Government of Ghana in partnership with the community. The school has not received any major development from the government since its establishment, so the community members always come together to support the school through communal labor. Being the only school in the area, the school population currently stands at 353, from kindergarten to grade 6. The school’s borehole well has been broken for years, so the students would have to fetch water from the nearby community water source. Recently, the community borehole well broke and now the students have to walk 3 km, each way, to another community to fetch water for drinking and sanitation. Now that the dry season is setting in, the situation will become worse as the pupils will have to wait in line for long periods to get their turn at the well. Time wasted fetching water multiple times per day has a negative impact on teaching and learning. "
Camerado Springs Middle School
Our 6th grade just finished A Long Walk to Water and were inspired by Salva Dut's story. We want to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Camila Garita Helping
Hi, I'm Camila, a 15-year-old with a deep passion for making a positive impact in the world. Born with a love for the ocean, I find inspiration in the vast beauty of our planet's waters. As a dedicated advocate for environmental conservation, I am particularly drawn to the well-being of our oceans. The delicate balance of marine ecosystems fuels my determination to contribute to their preservation.
Camp Kampa Homeschool
When we made the decision to homeschool, none of us realized just how fulfilling it would be or how fortunate we are to be able to do so. As we worked through our Water Unit, we realized the importance of water in our world. We learned that not everyone has access to clean water. Women and children all over the world must walk miles to get water for their families. We realize just how important this access is as we are living through the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe all people should have access to clean water and we want to be part of the solution! Check the updates section to learn more about the crisis and to see the current “masklaces” we have available with a minimum $10 donation. MASK UP!!

Cannon Falls High School
The INTERACT Club in Cannon Falls is the high school extension of the local Rotary Club. INTERACT participated in a project for a school in Malawi a couple of years ago and we wanted to participate again in helping H20 for Life bring clean water to children around the world. We will be doing another MORP, or backwards prom, along with a couple of other group activities to help raise funds for this event. We also want to partner with our local Rotary Club to draw attention to water quality issues in our community with Lake Byllesby and with our local rivers and streams. We are planning on a park and river clean up in the Spring. Our INTERACT Club is about promoting choices that make an impact here at home and that make a difference for people around the world.
