ISLA - International Spanish Lang...
We are a fourth grade class in Minnesota. We are studying water and the distribution and quality of it around the world. We would like to participate to help those around us and make a connection to what we have learned. We want to spread awareness for the water crisis.
Island Lake Elementary 5th Graders
In the last couple weeks, Island Lake 5th graders have been learning about the Global Water Crisis. To help raise awareness and reach out to a community in need students chose to support the Navajo Nation as is it close to home! All donations help as we hope to fully fund this project!
Istek Uluğbey High School
İstek Uluğbey Private High School aims to engage, educate, and inspire our students to become global citizens. With this project Uluğbey HS aims to increase awareness regarding the urgency and gravity of the global water crisis amongst our students and all stakeholders including staff & parents. We also wish to make a practical, real life difference to those in need by raising funds via a sponsored Walk4Water to raise funds for a water project in our global partnered school.
Jackson Creek Middle School
We are 8th graders attending Jackson Creek Middle School and it is with great pleasure that we support the Chihikwi Primary School in Tanzania!
Jackson Middle School
As International Baccalaureate students, we recognize that many people in other countries are not as fortunate as we are. Many things we take for granted are a necessity in other parts of the world. We are commitment to our community and we appreciate other cultures which bring new ideas to our life. Through our community project we enhance and polish understanding of other societies and we increase our tolerance and acceptance for others.
Jackson Middle School 6th Graders
We want to participate because we have been contributing to projects to bring clean water to South Sudan since 2015. Our 6th graders participate in a Trimester 3 theme of "Water - a Global Commodity" and read the book "Long Walk to Water".
James Hamblin School
We are a K-8 School in a small town in southern Saskatchewan. Our Grade 5/6 class read Salva Dut's story in "A Long Walk to Water", and after realizing our many privileges, were moved to do our part as global citizens. We want to help less fortunate children in a way that is meaningful and impactful.
J.C. McKenna Music Department
Our spring chorus concert theme was water, so we collected donations for H20 for Life.
JDHS Interact
Interact is a group for high school students sponsored by Rotary. It centers around the focus on community participation and leadership. Through self-run projects members learn the effect one person can make on a community, and the skills necessary to make that happen.
Jefferson Elementary School
Jefferson Jaguars are joining in on Water For Life's mission to help communities in need develop safe and sustainable water sources. Our goal is to educate our students so they have concern to help and improve the welfare and happiness of others. This will be our 2nd year in participating in Water For Life's mission. We are teaming up with other Mesa Public Schools in order to generate even more social awareness.
Jefferson High School
We would like to participate for many reasons!! 1. a large % of our students are from Central America and would connect emotionally to the cause 2. we believe clean water is a basic right for all humans 3. our water crisis in California is also a hot topic so the timing is good for education reasons
