King of Grace Lutheran School
The third grade class at King of Grace has participated in H2O projects since 2013. After viewing some of the videos on the H2O site, it's impossible not to want to help some of these children who are in need of what we often take for granted, water! This year we will be raising funds by running a candy store, selling donuts, and participation in a, "Walk for Water".
Kino Jr. High
Kino Kolts will be raising money for H2O for life and South Sudan School 4. During summer school, Kolts will be competing in Penny Wars to raise money. While raising money the students will be completing STEM projects related to water conservation, water decontamination, and the physical and economic importance of water.
Kitah Quetzal - 8-9th Grade Class...
Since September the students have been learning about the linkages between Judaism and the environment including about water, sanitation and hygiene and how students around the world live without this basic necessity.
Kromrey Middle School
The Kromrey Middle School Student Council is running a yearlong campaign to raise money for H2O for life.
Kyle Rasmussen
Supporting on my own. I want to help however I can!
Kyrene de la Mariposa
Katie Spotz came and talked to the 4th grade classes. Her story is amazing and inspiring. The website talked about a school needed $200 more to finish their water project, so we've chosen that school as it should be an easy goal for us to reach.
Laguna Elementary School
Laguna Elementary is a Title 1 school who has been supported by numerous local organizations. We want to give back by conducting a penny drive on our campus. Our 6th graders will spear head the project thus giving them the opportunity to experience a true leadership role on our campus.
La Habra High School
We are a group of sophomores at La Habra High School. We are so excited to have the opportunity to raise money for the kids of El Rodeo! We are so thankful to have the chance to give the kids an experience that we take for granted every day :)
La Habra High School (2016-17)
We are a group of nineteen sophomores at La Habra High School who want to make an impact in kids lives. We plan to have fundraisers and do what we can to ensure these kids clean water and the sanitation they need.
Lake Forest Academy
As a part of our sophomore seminar project, our section of the Lake Forest Academy sophomore class is required to choose a service project to pursue. We chose to fund an H2O for life school and raise a portion of the funds for it. Unfortunately we have a time limit to gather funds and although our goal is to raise "A kilometer of pennies" (which is equivalent to around 550 dollars). We expect that we will be able to reach about $300 realistically.
