Heritage Academy of Science & Tec...
Heritage Academy of Science & Technology is a grades 6-12 school in Minneapolis. We are primarily Somali-American students, many of whom have lived in or visited Kenya. Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)classes are organizing our fundraising for your school.
Heritage E-STEM Magnet School
Heritage E-STEM Magnet is a school dedicated to environmental causes. Over the past couple of years, our school has been partnering with InSciEd out to promote awareness with issues related to water. Heritage has raised funds for H2O for Life for the past two years and we expect this to be our best year yet!
Hiawatha Leadership Academy
The fourth grade scholars strive to be global leaders. After reading A Long Walk to Water, our team decided that working to help others access fresh water, and to ensure that more children are able to go to school as a result, became one of our hopes and dreams!
Hidden Oaks Middle School
8th grade global studies students at Hidden Oaks have read the novel, "A Long Walk to Water," by Linda Sue Park. The story of Salva Dut has inspired our classes to participate in a service learning project which will help bring fresh, clean, and safe water to areas where water is scarce. We have learned about the ripple affect that occurs in villages where wells are built.
Higher Ground Academy
Our school is passionate about the environment and taking action. Many of our students have a personal connection to South Sudan and East Africa.
Highland Community Middle School
Highland Community Middle School is a very small district in rural Wisconsin. We strive to give our students a broader view of the world around us. During the 2018-2019 school year, our field day focus was on water usage and quality. Students learned how fortunate they are to have the clean accessible water they have. Once they understood the situation, they were motivated to help others.
Highland Middle School
Highland Middle School students have voted to raise $1500.00 or more for a school in the Dominican Republic. Our school decided to follow the Because I said I would.......theme and make our promise to help others in another country. We are proud to be making a difference in the lives of others through a service learning project. We will be doing a variety of activities to raise money for this project. We have started by collecting rainwater in gallon-size jugs to be used in our H2O water Walk. We had our kick-off and sold popsicles to our students which brought in our first money. We will be having competitions through-out the year to raise money. Our staff and students will be purchasing the H2O t-shirts in the near future. We are doing this....because we said we would!
Highland Park Elementary School
We want to provide for students in Kenya.
Highview Middle School
All 8th grade students are involved with researching a human rights issue, doing something to solve their issue (action) and then reflecting on what they learned. Many students have chosen to solve the water crisis in Africa by participating in H2O for Life. Groups are doing a variety of things to raise the funds.
Hillbrook School
We are the Hillbrook Water Warriors! We fight for access to clean water. We hope to save our planet and impact people.
Hill-Murray School
Hill-Murray is a Catholic middle and high school. We are dedicated to aiding others through Christ, and are committed to helping schools across the globe gain access to clean water. In 2023, we established a Hill-Murray H2O for Life Club, with more than 50 students involved! We hope to keep growing and fundraising for H2O for Life!
Hilltop Elementary School- 4th Grade
4th Graders at Hilltop are learning about water! We are excited to partner with H2O for Life to help bring clean water to students around the world!
