Our sixth grade students have just finished reading A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. They were inspired by Salva's and Nya's stories and were moved to find out how they could help to build more wells.

The Stanley Clark School

Fifth graders at The Stanley Clark School are currently reading Linda Sue Park's novel A Long Walk to Water based on the true story of Salva Dut. Through our novel study and the educational resources provided by H2O for Life, we have learned a lot about the global water crisis and want to do our part to help improve access to clean, safe water in areas of the world where there are physical and economic barriers to water equity. We are hoping to raise at least $500 for Water for South Sudan to go toward well installation and maintenance projects.

Thomas Jefferson Middle School

Our club, Operation H2O, successfully completed our 2 year pilot project to bring awareness for the need of clean water internationally. Students created jewelry and decorations that were sold in our school. Our goal was to raise $500!

Thurgood Marshall Academy

Thurgood Marshall Academy Middle school students are passionate about creating change in the world for other children and believe that small simple actions, such as raising awareness about the global water crisis, can make a huge impact in the lives of others. Our students are compelled to make a difference in the world through their actions and will work hard to reach their goals! Tichon (Congregation Neveh Shalom)

I have chosen a great organization called H2O for Life as the focus of my Bar Mitzvah project. I want to help raise money and awareness in support of projects that provide access to clean water for communities on the Navajo Reservation. Many times when we think of people who don't have access to clean water, we think of people in other countries. But people right here in our country are facing critical challenges with water access. Thirty percent of families in Navajo don't have access to running water. I hope through my efforts to help one family and maybe a group of families be able to turn on a faucet in their home and have clean water similar to what we have every day.

Tiffany Creek Elementary School

Tiffany Creek School is located in Boyceville, WI in a small rural community in Northwest Wisconsin. Despite it's small size (just over 1,000), it is populated by modest, friendly and big-hearted folks,who come out en-masse to support our teams and programs.

Tomball Intermediate School Student Council prides itself in actively serving the school and local community. We decided this year to also find a way to help others in the global community. We understand the importance of water and want to help another school.

Totoket Valley Elementary School

Our fifth graders are taking action on UN Global Goal #6! Our Clean Water Crew have been invested in learning about the water crisis and are now interested in becoming social activists to help address the issue.
