Higher Ground Academy
Our school is passionate about the environment and taking action. Many of our students have a personal connection to South Sudan and East Africa.
Highland Park Elementary School
We want to provide for students in Kenya.
Highview Middle School
All 8th grade students are involved with researching a human rights issue, doing something to solve their issue (action) and then reflecting on what they learned. Many students have chosen to solve the water crisis in Africa by participating in H2O for Life. Groups are doing a variety of things to raise the funds.
Hill-Murray School
Hill-Murray is a Catholic middle and high school. We are dedicated to aiding others through Christ, and are committed to helping schools across the globe gain access to clean water. In 2023, we established a Hill-Murray H2O for Life Club, with more than 50 students involved! We hope to keep growing and fundraising for H2O for Life!
Hilltop Elementary School- 4th Grade
4th Graders at Hilltop are learning about water! We are excited to partner with H2O for Life to help bring clean water to students around the world!
Hopkins High School
We have the opportunity to provide a transformational service-learning opportunity for our students through H2O for Life. Our students will study issues surrounding the global water crisis, learn about their partner school and country, and will plan and implement activities that raise funds to help bring water and sanitation to our partner school. We want our students to know that by working together, we can make a difference in the world! We hope that all students in our school will benefit from our partnership with H2O for Life. Students will be challenged to think about their own habits concerning water usage, and will develop awareness of the enormity of the issues surrounding water in our world. We hope our school will be committed to make this project for our partner school a reality.
IJ Holton Intermediate School
I am the adviser for the 5th and 6th grade student council. I am also a 6th grade language arts teacher.
ISLA - International Spanish Lang...
We are a fourth grade class in Minnesota. We are studying water and the distribution and quality of it around the world. We would like to participate to help those around us and make a connection to what we have learned. We want to spread awareness for the water crisis.
Island Lake Elementary 5th Graders
In the last couple weeks, Island Lake 5th graders have been learning about the Global Water Crisis. To help raise awareness and reach out to a community in need students chose to support the Navajo Nation as is it close to home! All donations help as we hope to fully fund this project!
Jackson Middle School 6th Graders
We want to participate because we have been contributing to projects to bring clean water to South Sudan since 2015. Our 6th graders participate in a Trimester 3 theme of "Water - a Global Commodity" and read the book "Long Walk to Water".
Johnson Senior High School AVID
This is our third year participating in H2O for Life. We learned quite a bit about the water crisis around the world, as well as the importance of helping communities around the world. This is a great service learning project.
