Khuluvi Primary School

Prior to this school's establishment, families were sending their children to schools 1.5+ kilometers away, which put a strain on parents as they would escort their children to school, delaying their daily work. Today, the school has 135 students nad 6 staff/teachers.
Mount Calvary Secondary School
Mount Calvary Secondary School, situated in Mtitu Village of the Kilolo District, has a total student enrollment of 109. The school employs 10 staff members, both teachers and non-teaching personnel. A significant challenge faced by Mount Calvary is the lack of access to safe and clean water, a common issue in many schools and villages across Iringa. Students spend considerable time collecting water from unsafe sources for various domestic uses, including cleaning, cooking, and drinking. Typically, students collect water from the Lukosi River, which is considered unsafe and contaminated.
Namatapa Primary School
Namatapa Primary School, located in Kaselema Village, Zomba District, serves 1,312 students (670 girls, 642 boys) with 27 teachers and a catchment population of approximately 19,000 people from 27 villages. The school relies on a functional borehole with an Afridev hand pump for water supply but with a toilet-to-student ratio of 262:1—well above the recommended 50:1 standard—the sanitation situation is critical.
Prathmik Vidhyalaya Baadi
The proposed project will be an integrated effort to improve health and nutrition awareness among children. Availability of safe drinking water, Bio sand filters and regular check-ups to monitor the health of the students. This school has already received water and sanitation facilities.
