Dear H2O for Life, We are pleased to report that Water for South Sudan has drilled the well that you sponsored. We have now drilled more than 600 wells since 2005, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support from donors like you. WFSS will continue to provide access to clean water and hygiene education, led by our South Sudan team. Although parts of South Sudan continue to experience unrest, we have been able to continue drilling wells safely. Seventh graders at Ashland-Greenwood Middle School in NE pledged to raise $2,000 to support St. Mugagga Junior School in Uganda—and they’ve already surpassed their goal! Impact Hub Academy is a rural community school located in Dzolokpuita in the Volta Region of Ghana. It was established to provide quality education, develop communal spirit among students through service learning, and enhance computer technology learning. Project and Impact The project included the construction of modern washroom facilities and the provision of a water storage tank to harvest rainwater. These two projects are critical for the functioning of the school. Hitherto, the lack of these facilities had hindered teaching and learning, and hygiene issues among teachers and pupils.
