Impact Hub Academy Project
Impact Hub Academy is a rural community school located in Dzolokpuita in the Volta Region of Ghana. It was established to provide quality education, develop communal spirit among students through service learning, and enhance computer technology learning.
Project and Impact
The project included the construction of modern washroom facilities and the provision of a water storage tank to harvest rainwater. These two projects are critical for the functioning of the school. Hitherto, the lack of these facilities had hindered teaching and learning, and hygiene issues among teachers and pupils. The entire school community and stakeholders are grateful to H2O for Life for their support in the construction and provision of these facilities.
Saviour, the manageress of Impact Hub Academy expressed her gratitude for the project completed. “Our pupils would have continued open defecation, exposing them to unhygienic conditions but now, with the construction of these WASH facilities, we will practice good hygiene and teaching and learning will go on effectively. Thank you”.
Also, on behalf of VARAS, I would like to thank H2O for Life for sponsoring this washroom and water project. We couldn’t have done it without your support. This water project will help facilitate teaching and learning and help realise the mission of the school. Thank you!
