Ishikawa Walk for Water

Posted by Steve Hall on April 11

The sixth-grade classes at Ishikawa Elementary School in Mesa, Arizona, took part in their 4th annual H2O For Life fundraiser.  The students completed a 5k Walk for Water wearing their H2O shirts, each carrying a gallon of water.

They also asked the student body to donate at least $1.00 each. Students who donated wrote their name on a water droplet and added it to our large display in the gym.

Several students took it upon themselves to have neighborhood bake sales, made bracelets to sell, and even had a lemonade stand! We are proud of our students for their part in advocating for clean drinking water, and for helping to educate others about this very important cause.
