Project Review: Our implementing partner, EOS International, visited with Integración Centroamericana school leaders to assess the need to provide safe drinking water to serve the students and teachers. Since they have safe drinking water through their supply from a community water project, it was identified that the school would benefit from a combined system for the purification of water for consumption. Hill-Murray High School in Maplewood, MN, established its H2O for Life Club in the Fall of 2023. They recently organized their first fundraiser, dodgeball, making announcements and debuting H2O for Life for Hill-Murray! With around six teams, including a teacher team, students showed up to play and support Mlandege Primary School in Tanzania! With announcers, refs, music, organizers, and concessions, games went for around 2 hours, with students enjoying every minute and showing their true school spirit. The new latrines and handwashing station at Rodeo School in Nicaragua has been successfully completed! Our implementing partner, El Porvenir, partners with the people of Nicaragua so that they can build a better future for themselves through the sustainable development of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) education projects. They also take it a step further with their watershed management program, which promotes water flow, increases food security, and reduces the impact of climate change. Thank you for trusting H2O for Life and Drink Local Drink Tap, our implementing partner, with your generous donation to help the people of Kasozi (Kah-Soe-Zee) Primary School in Nakasongola (Na-ka-sone-go-la), Uganda. You’ve directly impacted the lives of 509 children, teachers, and all who come after them. You did this by funding three 10,000-liter rainwater harvesting tanks with tap stands and classroom water filters that will reliably serve this community.
