Otter Lake Carnival

Otter Lake Elementary School in White Bear Lake, MN, recently held its annual carnival, with proceeds supporting a water and sanitation project at St. Mugagga Junior School in Uganda.
The students organized a sale featuring gift cards donated by local businesses from White Bear Lake and Hugo. They also offered glitter cups filled with lemonade and gently used jigsaw puzzles. Student Ambassadors, who are in 4th and 5th grade, volunteered to work shifts at the booth. Through their efforts, they raised over $450 and anticipate selling the remaining gift cards soon.
