Salem Hills Walk for Water

Salem Hills Elementary School in MN is dedicated to providing clean water to the world population one step at a time.
“We believe in a world where access to clean water is a possibility for everyone, and we hope to achieve that through education and annual, student-driven, fundraisers. We hope to make clean water a reality for everyone.”
Students & staff walked a 5K with jugs of water to simulate what people in other countries must do every day. The event raised awareness of the importance of clean water and helped raise funds to give other countries more access to clean water.
“We had a great day and I think the kids really got the message!”
