Amoke Borehole
Posted by Steve Hall on November 10, 2022
Amoke Primary School is located in Pader District, Latanya sub-County, Uganda. The current enrollment consists of 386 boys and 217 girls.
BEFORE:
The school’s only current water source is a rainwater harvesting tank which provides water during the rainy season but soon dries up. For the majority of the year, the students and staff are forced to collect dirty, unsafe water from local streams and water holes. The situation at this school is dire and they urgently need a source of clean water.AFTER:
Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, drilled a borehole well that will provide access to safe water for these students for years to come! Having this well near the school grounds will allow these students to stay healthy and focused on their education.
