Alipi borehole drilled
Posted by Steve Hall on October 20, 2020
Alipi Primary School is in the Abachi Village in the Koboko district of Uganda, which is in an area called West Nile, near the border of Uganda and the DRC (Congo). The school has 1010 students in total – 516 boys and 494 girls.
Alipi students were in urgent need of this new well as there was no source of water at the school causing students to walk more than 1 km multiple times each day to fetch water from unsafe sources. Having this borehole well on the school grounds will provide plentiful safe water and allow these students to concentrate on their studies.
