Varsity Lakes 6th Graders Walk-4-Water

To end the school year, 6th grade Reading classes read “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda S. Park and learned about global water scarcity. The students put what they have learned into action by sponsoring the Sabane Primary School water project.
Over 200 Varsity Lakes Middle School 6th graders completed a Walk-4-Water on May 23rd. We raised enough money to fully fund the Sabane Primary School project in Kenya. This was a very exciting and inspiring project for our school!
