H2O Community Walk - Porter Elementary, AZ
Posted by Steve Hall on February 18, 2017
Porter Elementary walked with the community to our local fire station to donate water bottles. The winning class from the school-wide coin drive led the way. Ms. Carlson’s 3rd Grade class also took a tour of the fire station and learned how local emergency help those who are in need and also provide water to them, including the homeless. Porter commensurated their walk with a SOAKING of super soakers and buckets of water by the principal and staff. The excitement was completed as students wrote their name with chalk inside the outline of Africa and the winning class placed their hand print, showing that they have been apart of making change in their world. It was a GREAT DAY!
