Marilyn Wilson Elementary (AZ) recently spent a month studying the water crisis. Information was read on the morning announcements and during class students learned about how we can help. We started the month with a Jump Rope for Water and ended the month with a Walk for Water. Students filled over 100 bottles with water to carry along the route. Everyone had a great time and learned how difficult it is for children in Africa to get water on a daily basis. We had a sponsor sheet and raised money for our partner school, Subego Primary in Kenya. Most importantly the students loved learning about water and the lifestyle of children in Kenya and other areas of our world.
