Madalyn Leventhal
There is an urgent need for implementation of safe water, sanitation and hygiene education projects (WASH in Schools) for schools around the world. I am a Westridge student and our goal is to raise $24,590 for schools in rural Africa to get access to clean drinking water which is an absolute necessity. This year we are going to raise money for Khuluvi Primary School St. Augustine Indulusia Primary School, Women’s Production Program, and Bukwaya Primary School. The addition of WASH facilities improves the health and learning performance of students by reducing the incidence of water and sanitation related diseases. Student attendance and time in class also increases when facilities are available on school grounds. Please donate to my fundraiser. Anything you can give is a huge help! On November 9th, seventh and eighth grade Westridge students will be participating in walk for water, a fundraiser to spread awareness about the global water crisis. Please come and support us!
