St. Joseph Students Step Up!
St. Joseph Catholic School in Arlington, TX had an amazing Walk for Water last month to raise funds for the projects they are supporting in Ethiopia and Uganda. Although the Walk was considered a great success, they were still a bit short of their ultimate fundraising goal ($9,350.00).
Here’s an update St. Joseph just passed along:
“We have a wonderful faculty and student body who totally stepped up to fill in the blanks.
Student Council had a Candy Cane Gram fundraiser already scheduled and donated the proceeds to the cause. Then, the National Junior Honor Society thought of the idea of having a penny drive. Each teacher had a box that the students would put money in. At the end of the week, the teacher with the most money in their box had to wear an elf costume for the day.
Well… WE MET OUR GOAL!!!“
