Water Ball 2015 - Celebrating Youth
On Saturday evening, September 26, three hundred fifty guests attended the Water Ball, H2O for Life’s Annual Gala. The event held at the Crowne Plaza in St. Paul, Minnesota was a magical evening. Guests were greeted by Chippewa Middle School’s African Drum Line, led by director Kathy Crockett. They were followed by a jazz group from White Bear Lake Senior High School, named “The Brasskickers”. Both groups were fantastic! The silent auction was filled with items from our global partner communities, and the bidding was fierce during the live auction. Student Madeline Lamwers, a 9th grade student from White Bear Lake North Campus, and teacher Sara Damon, representing Stillwater Junior High delivered compelling presentations about the power of youth engagement and making a difference.
