Because "service learning is a way to teach, not a thing to teach" and it is my goal to build better global citizens via art... Using art as a means for grassroots activism vs. being a mere form of decoration... AND because my students have bought into the cause and feel a sense of responsibility! For us, it is all about compassion! Water IS life and everyone deserves that! Because it is our duty to care for our "Ubuntu"!
