Liesel Vogl
Hello! My name is Liesel Vogl and I joined the Water Warriors club at Westridge this year! I joined because I wanted to make a difference in people's lives who live in developing countries around the world. The job of walking miles just to get water is usually done by women, so they will end up getting very little or no education. Together as a school, Westridge helps raise money to make water systems in these developing countries. On November 14, we will walk for three miles around the Rose Bowl while carrying a gallon of water to experience what people go through every day. So because of all this, please donate to this cause!! Anything and everything will help!! All of the money donated goes to piping water into homes in Appalachia, building rain tanks at the Mahola Mixed Secondary School in Kenya, building a new Borehole Well at the Amoke Primary School in Uganda, and more!
