Project
Amoke Primary School
Project Complete!
Amoke Primary School is located in Pader District, Latanya sub-County, Uganda. The current enrollment consists of 386 boys and 217 girls.
The school’s only current water source is a rainwater harvesting tank which provides water during the rainy season, but soon dries up. For the majority of the year, the students and staff are forced to collect dirty, unsafe water from local streams and water holes. The situation at this school is dire and they urgently need a source of clean water.
Project Proposal: New Borehole Well
Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, will drill a well that will provide safe water on the school grounds.

H2O for Life is not a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) project implementer. We have partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) implementing WASH in Schools projects around the world. Our NGO partners match funds needed for each school project. We also have a generous donor that provides us with an interest-free loan that, along with matching funds, allows for many projects to be started or possibly even completed before total funds have been raised. In rare situations we reserve the right to reallocate funds to alternate project(s).
