Ginny Cheung

Hello, my name is Ginny Cheung, and this is my first year as a Water Warrior! I joined Water Warriors because this club makes a difference, and I wanted to contribute! Water Warriors help raise funds to build clean water sources in developing countries so that students (and often the female ones) don't have to sacrifice crucial learning time to walk with gallons of water to school! With the water sources, Water Warriors help build, we can make sure those students get the education they deserve, without sacrificing the necessity of water. We will be walking around the Rose Bowl (3 miles) carrying a gallon of water, as many of those girls must do to provide for their families, so please donate to my fundraiser so we can continue supporting these developing countries! This money will go towards pipes in Appalachian homes, rain tanks and more for Mahola Mixed Secondary School, and a borehole well in Uganda's Amoke Primary School.
