Scarlett Coombes

Hello, my name is Scarlett and this is my second year as a water warrior, and I am a club head. I joined this club because there are so many people in the world who do not have access to clean water, and have to travel long distances and times every day to bring home dirty water for their families. This job is usually done by women too, so going to school and getting an education is much harder. Student attendance and time in class increases when facilities are available on school grounds. I want to make a difference and water warriors is an amazing place to do that. We are having a walk for water on November 14th in which we walk around the Rose Bowl while holding a gallon of water, so please donate to my fundraiser! This will go towards piping water into homes in Appalachia, building a new borehole well at Amoke Primary School in Uganda, building a rain tank, handwashing stations, VIP latrines, and training to students, teachers, and parents on health, hygiene, Covid 19, etc. at Mahola Mixed Secondary School, and more! Anything you can donate is a huge help! We greatly appreciate it!
