We are 6th Graders at Friends Seminary. This year we read The Long Walk to Water and were inspired by Salva Dut's story. After participating in a water simulation this fall, we researched the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal #6 which aims to address the struggles around the world to access clean, safe water. Through our H2O for Life Walk on April 28, we hope to raise funds to help with the installation of wells in the communities we selected.
We believe in the power of youth to make a difference in this world. We carefully selected our nonprofit partner, H2O for Life, because they work hard to impact the access to clean, safe water around the world and for their proven history in strong partnerships in the countries where they work.
