Frederick W. Hartnett Middle School

The goal of this project is to teach students about the global water crisis and how clean water access impacts education, health, and daily life in communities around the world. As part of this experience, our class is raising awareness, and raising funds for this project.
On June 5th, Hartnett students will participate in a Walk for Water, symbolizing the long distances many people—especially children—walk each day to collect water. Students will carry 1-gallon water jugs for part of the walk to better understand the daily challenge faced by millions around the world.
This is a powerful learning experience for our students, helping them become informed, empathetic, and active global citizens. Thank you for your support in making this project a success!
