WorldWalkers
The children that go to the Chub Romdeng Primary School do not have access to clean and safe water. To understand the work and effort they put in each day to have water to drink as a community we will walk together to help raise money for a WASH project. Women and children spend on average 8 hours a day collecting water, which takes away time from an education that creates well informed citizens who contribute to advancing their society. If women and children have the assurance of having clean water, families will be healthier and have a greater ability to have a steady income. This walk is raising awareness for suffering countries all around the world who do not have access to clean water. As a community when we walk for water, we will not only understand the difficulties of carrying water, but it will also help raise awareness about the importance of conserving water.
