The Multiplying Effect

The availability of a clean water system on school grounds is crucial for watering the crops. In 2021, in our quest to curb the spread of Covid 19 in rural community schools, Hlefi Community School was one of such beneficiaries. The school is not only using its water supply for drinking, washing, and promoting health care and sanitation, but has also used it to start a school farm project!  The farm project is teaching students about agriculture and the importance of a healthy diet and is also raising money for the school by selling the produce.
