New borehole for Obolokome students

Obolokome Primary School is located in Obolokome Village, Pader District, Laguti Sub-County. The school previously did not have any source of clean water. Students would have to walk more than 3 km multiple times each day to fetch water from an unprotected stream with unsafe water. The schools in Uganda were recently closed down once again due to the pandemic, but our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, was able to successfully drill this borehole well beforehand. Having this well on the school grounds will provide plentiful safe water and allow these students to stay healthy and focus on their education.
