Well complete! Thank you St. Christopher School!
February 27, 2018
Dear St. Christopher School,
We are pleased to report that Water for South Sudan, Inc. has drilled the well that you sponsored. We have now drilled over 300 wells since 2005—and yours was our 318th well. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of donors like you which enables our work.
WFSS will continue to provide access to clean water and hygiene education, led by our South Sudan team. Although parts of South Sudan continue to experience unrest, we have been able to continue drilling wells safely. Our work continues to provide grassroots development and sustainability for rural villages and schools. The installation of a new well can also serve as a starting point for conflict resolution between different groups, bringing peace and stability.
Your well is in the village of Gukuthie in Majak-Bul, Aweil East. The village chief is Gum Kuol Gum.
Thank you for your support and generosity, which is now helping to provide fresh, clean water, and a new future to the people of Gukuthie in South Sudan.
