Okir Ladek okwok

Uganda 425 beneficiaries Nwoya
Okir Ladek okwok, located in the Koch-Goma sub-county of Nwoya district in Uganda, has a total enrollment of 425 students.
The current water source is a protected spring located just over half a mile away. This spring provides groundwater, which is not safe for drinking. Additionally, local livestock also use this water source, leading to constant illness spreading amongst the population. As a result, the children in the area frequently suffer from stomach and skin infections.
Project Proposal: New Borehole Well
Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, will drill a borehole well providing safe water on the school grounds.
