Ttama Project complete

March 9, 2026
Our implementing partner, Drink Local Drink Tap (DLDT), recently constructed two bathing (showering) buildings for boys and girls to ensure safe hygiene practices for boarders (students living at the school) and girls during the day who need private washing facilities. Without these facilities, children were not safe. Before constructing these bathing buildings, they had to bathe in open areas at night, which posed many safety risks. (This school already has a sustainable water source from DLDT, and this project will help complete full WASH services at the school. Kids are no longer carrying water from the pond!)

Thanks to the Bank Street School for Children in New York, NY, for supporting this project!
