Project
Buliganwa Primary School
Buliganwa Primary School, located in the Nabitende sub-county of Iganga district in Uganda, has a total enrollment of 447 students, comprising 210 boys and 237 girls.
The nearest water source to the school is a community well situated over a kilometer away. Being a public well, it frequently has long queues of people waiting to collect water. Consequently, students are spending precious time in queues when they could be in class. It is crucial for the school to establish its own water supply.
Project Proposal: New Borehole Well
Our implementing partner, Drop in the Bucket, will drill a borehole well providing safe water on the school grounds.

H2O for Life is not a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) project implementer. We have partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) implementing WASH in Schools projects around the world. Our NGO partners match funds needed for each school project. We also have a generous donor that provides us with an interest-free loan that, along with matching funds, allows for many projects to be started or possibly even completed before total funds have been raised. In rare situations we reserve the right to reallocate funds to alternate project(s).
