Clean Drinking Water for Ukraine 2022-23
Project Complete!
There is an urgent need for supplies to provide clean drinking water for individuals and families in Ukraine. The bombing and shelling have broken pipelines, destroyed water treatment plants, and disrupted access to clean water for thousands of Ukrainians. You can help by raising funds to supply filters for the people of Ukraine.
A $25 donation will provide 2 filters. Each filter can purify 2 gallons of water in 7-10 minutes and can filter more than 200 gallons per day.
The filters will be sent to distribution points in Poland, Romania, and Western Ukraine and will be distributed by volunteers that are on the ground in the areas of need. We will begin sending filters immediately and continue sending shipments as funds are available.
H2O for Life is not a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) project implementer. We have partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) implementing WASH in Schools projects around the world. Our NGO partners match funds needed for each school project. We also have a generous donor that provides us with an interest-free loan that, along with matching funds, allows for many projects to be started or possibly even completed before total funds have been raised. In rare situations we reserve the right to reallocate funds to alternate project(s).
