AWP 2022 in Review
December 19, 2022
In 2022, our implementing partner, DigDeep's, Appalachia Water Project (AWP) completed its first piped water project while also expanding in both scope and scale. The DigDeep team connected homes to water and sewage lines and began innovating off-grid solutions for remote households so that no family is left behind.
“I’m so happy that water’s turned on; I don’t know what to do! I can’t see nothing but good things coming.”
-Donna, DigDeep AWP Client
AWP began wastewater projects, for both piped sewer and onsite systems. Many of these projects began over 2022, and we look forward to their completion in 2023!
DigDeep conducts surveys with each served household before and after the project. Valuable client input is gathered through these surveys to guide and measure project success.
