Build an Aquifer

Global 1 hour
Learning Targets:
  • I will illustrate how water is stored in an aquifer, how groundwater can become contaminated, and how this contamination ends up in a drinking water source by experimenting with an aquifer. 

In this activity, students learn the basics about aquifers and then build their own model of one in a cup.
