A Walk For Water!
June 12, 2018
6th grade students at Bank Street School for Children took to the streets of New York City to inform the community about the global water crisis and to have a first hand experience of what it might feel like to have to carry their own drinking water a long distance.
The students were enthusiastic and resilient on their walk. Each carried either a sign or a plastic gallon of water (sometimes two). Please enjoy the photos of our fun and tiring morning.
