Diana Klein

Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to allow me to introduce myself. My name is Diana Klein, and I am a 7th grade student at Westridge School for girls in Pasadena, California. I am very passionate about this urgent cause. I am involved with trying to help bring clean, sanitary water to the schools called Friends Munzatsi Primary school in Kenya and Pamin-lok oola school in Uganda.

Indulge me; imagine you're not living in America, you do not have running water, or sanitary drinking water. You don't have toilets, or warm showers to bathe in. Now, imagine yourself having to walk miles just to find dirty water from a river. After that, you have to carry it back to your village in Uganda, you must sanitize the water, just to take a sip, and hope, your family doesn't get sick from the water containing parasites or worse.

I am a member of H2O For Life, which is an organization, devoted to help bring fresh water to underprivilege schools in Africa. There is an urgent need to bring safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education projects to schools in Africa. Statistics show that the addition of WASH facilities, Bathrooms, improves the health and learning performance of students by reducing the incidence of water and sanitation-related diseases. Student attendance and time in class also increases when facilities are available on school grounds. Every penny you give to this worthy cause, will give a child a chance at a better life. Please take a stand with me and help this worthy cause.

While we have automatic flushing toilets, heated, massaging toilet seats, and a bidet, poor kids in the school called Friends Munzatsi Primary school in Kenya and Pamin-lok oola school in Uganda, don't even have clean running water. Let's do our part and help these poor kids have a better life!!
