Hello I'm Olivia! There is an urgent need for implementation of safe water, sanitation and hygiene projects for schools and people around the world. Many people around the world don't have the same access to clean water as you and me. The average woman in rural Africa walks 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles) every day to haul 40 pounds of water, spending their time get water also prevents young girls and women from getting an education as the trips for water take most of the day. The addition of clean and safe water facilities improves the health and learning performance of students by reducing the incidence of water and sanitation related diseases. Student attendance and time in class also increases when facilities are available on school grounds. Please donate to this fundraiser, because every dollar or cent donated is used for a good cause.
