All over the world there is an urgent need for clean, accessible water. Women and children across the world have to walk miles just to get water. The lack of wells in many countries causes many children to have to drop out of school. Many even get sick and die from tainted water. The addition of WASH facilities improves the health and learning performance of students by reducing the incidence of water and sanitation related diseases.
