Welcome to my fundraising page for H2O for Life! I am very honored to be part of my school's Water Warriors club, which supports safe water, sanitation and hygiene education projects, (WASH) for schools in need. The addition of WASH helps students around the world learn without worrying about the deficiency of filtered water. It diminishes the lack of clean water by building wells and rain catcher tanks. The schools that we are helping this year are SLMB Primary School in Sierra Leone, Vodze Community Basic School in Ghana, and Kathungu Primary School Girls Dormitory in Kenya. They are all in dire need of a clean, safe water source within the facility. Each school is unique, but they all don’t have an immediate access to purified water, so multiple times a day students have to walk miles in order to fetch water. Hence this dilemma, on November 6th Water Warriors will do a Walk with Water fundraiser. We will walk 3 miles with 1 gallon jug of water each, to simulate the trek so many people have to walk every day just to get water that may not even be clean. I am very grateful for this amazing fundraising group and and exited to be a part of it!
